Samsara
I'm lying down. I open my eyes and look around. It's taking a minute for my eyes to adjust.

I mumble, "Where am I?" and try to get a look around.
My memory is really foggy too. The last thing I remember is being at home talking to Achara, my wife.

I feel exhausted and collapse back to sleep.

I don't know how long it's been before I open my eyes again. I'm in a tiny empty room, everything is just white. It's really tight in here. My body is touching all the walls around me.
I remember a bit more. We live a couple blocks from the temple and had heard the ring from the Bonsho. We were putting on our coats and shoes to go to service.

I'm starting to feel claustrophobic in this small room. I try pushing and the wall flexes a bit. I'm still stuck! I start hitting against the wall.
I remember it was snowing a lot. It was hard to see. I walked ahead of Achara.

I keep hitting the wall. A small crack appears. The light from outside is blinding. I keep hitting.
As I crossed the street, I looked to my right and saw the bright headlights of a car speeding directly at me.

A large chunk of the wall has fallen out. It's bright out there, but my eyes are adjusting.
I remember the sound of my body crunching through a windshield, and the acrid smell of an air bag.

I push chunks of wall down. I crawl out, and start to make out my surroundings.
My memories are starting to fade. Was it snowing? What was my wife's name? Was I married?

I feel exhausted and collapse back to sleep.

I wake up, but something's wrong. My arms are covered in yellow feathers! Did I just come out of a giant egg? The combination of exhaustion, fear and confusion is too much. I feel like I need to throw up. I manage a scream, "Peep!"
